What I Love - Varit
Live Session
Varit performs 'What I Love' from his 2024 debut album 'Paradise' live in A-SIDE studio.
Often found smoking cigarettes in the carpark, Varit and his band (now formed as the questionably named band 'Backshotz') have been recording, rehearsing and playing shows here for a few years now. They're practically part of the furniture and are some of the hardest working people in Tāmaki.

"'What I Love' explores the idea of being in something you don't want to be. Doing things you don't want to do. So now asks the question, who is responsible for your own life if not yourself?"
