We're a hybrid studio of multidisciplinary creatives, striking a nice balance between commercial freelance work and our own creative pursuits. The space is well suited to anyone who works in the creative industry and needs a home away from home to focus or explore. It's a great place to connect with other likeminded people, and we all do our best to share work around when we can.

Each desk folds down so you have space to pop up and easel, tattoo bed or anything else your heart desires. While not a traditional wet studio we aren't scared of a bit of paint either.

Apart from the sense of community and purpose - residents also get access to our shared audio and podcast recording facilities, as well as discounted rental rates on A-side studio bookings for their commercial work. Portfolio and spec work in A-side is free of charge so long as there's no one else using the studio that day.

We often work on commercial projects together, and share the love around if our plates are getting a bit full. If you run your own business but still want the benefits of working with a team, this is the place for you.

It's nice. With our proximity to Myers park and the nature of our studio there's always something going on, so if you need a place to completely unplug we're probably not the right fit.

We're always respectful of each other and the need to focus when deadlines are looming, and any disruptions are discussed ahead of time.

Things happen, we know what it's like. Our residency agreements have been setup so that you're not locked in to anything long term. 21 days notice is all you need to give up your desk, whatever the reason is.

Not at all. There are many ways to engage with our space and the community around it. We regularly host events to bring everyone together, keep an eye on the community tab on the our work page to see everything coming up here.
