Hahko Meets Emily Edrosa

My favorite conversations are the ones where you skip the small talk & just get right into the real shit.

This episode with Emily Edrosa is real. Really insightful, entertaining, open & honest. Really human.

I’ve been a fan of, and fascinated by, Emily ever since her time in Street Chant, where she stood out to me as a rare musical talent, and even more rare, someone who would speak their mind. Not only is what she speaks about important, but the reaction to her existence has been equally as telling.

From Left to Right: Emily Edrosa, Hahko

Emily (with a cheeky P.H.F cameo) talked to me about important shit like mental health, housing conditions, fake friends & the Bush dynasty. We also talk about her new music coming out, the commodification of youth and how music don’t get no respect.

I found so much of what we discussed relatable and resonant for my own experiences that I can’t help being grossly earnest in saying I feel immense gratitude at being a part of such a great conversation.
